This blog is managed by a ragtag sort of team. We are four students currently at Michigan State University. Two of us are psychology majors, one is undecided, and the other is a fisheries and wildlife major which makes us a bit of an odd group. The blog is called “The Mind on the Mind” but we will be looking at so much more than just the human mind. Our main focus is on psychology (as that is the majority), but we are going to be rotating our focus every couple weeks to different branches of psychology and how they can or don’t relate to nature (pulling in the fisheries and wildlife major). Note that not all posts are going to have to do with nature and psychology but most will.
J.M. is a freshman studying psychology. She is not
sure of what she wants to do with the degree. She has great interest in other
fields of the social sciences and loves music (playing and otherwise)! Her goal
is to have greater knowledge on the different branches of psychology.
C.C is a freshman with a major in psychology. Hoping
one day to better understand how the human brain works and become a clinical
psychologist.
A.C. is a freshman studying fisheries and wildlife at
Michigan State. She is interested in how humans impact the environment and also
loves to make art and play soccer. In the future she wants to do work in the
field of wildlife conservation. Her goal in this blog is to relate the
communication and behavior habits of different animal species to human
psychology.
C.F. is a freshman who has very little idea what he wants to do as a career. He will be using this blog as a way to explore possible careers as well as convey information in the field of psychology.
